Double Technology Radar Ultrasound
USM9001 detects vehicles using the combination of microwave-radar and ultrasound technologies. The radar provides the system with the ability to accurately measure the length and speed of the vehicle using the “doppler” effect.
Other features, including vehicle counting at low speed and vehicle height detection are performed by the ultrasound sensor.
The set of data collected allows, by using appropriate algorithms, to obtain an accurate classification of vehicles.
